# Casebook vs Induction

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Induction at none against Casebook's 1. Induction also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Casebook's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Casebook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Induction asks for nothing beyond the download.

Casebook ships an update fortnightly, Induction every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
