# Tip Tracker vs ShiftSlip

The clearest difference is update cadence: ShiftSlip at every 5 days against Tip Tracker's every 2 months. Tip Tracker's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tip Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and ShiftSlip sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tip Tracker ships an update every 2 months, ShiftSlip every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
