# Orbil vs Novely

The clearest difference is update cadence: Novely at every 3 days against Orbil's every 2 weeks. Novely also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Orbil sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Novely sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Orbil ships an update every 2 weeks, Novely every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
