# Word Scramble vs Dune Words

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dune Words at every 6 days against Word Scramble's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Word Scramble sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Dune Words sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Word Scramble ships an update every 2 months, Dune Words every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
