# Smash Quest vs Boom Stack Smash

The clearest difference is update cadence: Boom Stack Smash at every 9 days against Smash Quest's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smash Quest sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days and Boom Stack Smash sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
