# Airport Time Machine Lite vs Traffix 3D

The clearest difference is rating: Traffix 3D at 4.5 against Airport Time Machine Lite's 2.8. Traffix 3D also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 49 months) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 8). Airport Time Machine Lite's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 9) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Traffix 3D sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Airport Time Machine Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

Traffix 3D holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Traffix 3D has 1.4K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Airport Time Machine Lite's written reviews are positive against 25% of Traffix 3D's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Airport Time Machine Lite ships an update every 49 months, Traffix 3D monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
