# Screw Machine vs Grab the Cheese

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Grab the Cheese at 100% against Screw Machine's 57%. Screw Machine's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Screw Machine sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Grab the Cheese sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Screw Machine holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 736 and 376 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Screw Machine's written reviews are positive against 100% of Grab the Cheese's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Screw Machine ships an update every 4 days, Grab the Cheese every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
