# Lelo Reader vs ReadIt

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lelo Reader at every 4 days against ReadIt's every 10 days. ReadIt's advantage is iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lelo Reader sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ReadIt sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lelo Reader ships an update every 4 days, ReadIt every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
