The yokai of Korean folktales fight exactly as the old stories tell. The Imugi grows the longer you fight it, until it becomes a dragon. The Jihaguk Daejeok hides its life in a jar. Until you find and break the jar, it will not fall. The Rat King, like the rat that ate a stranger's nail clippings, takes on your face. Free the cat caught in a trap and the disguise falls away. The Jeoseung Saja calls your name while you stay in its sight. Set out an Offering Table and it stops. A classic turn-based roguelike carved from Korean folklore. Die once and you start over, and the dungeon is redrawn every time you enter. ▶ Tap a yokai to see its weakness and next move All 155 yokai have an info window: resistances, weaknesses, and a telegraph of what they will do next turn. Read one move ahead, then dodge or strike back. Every yokai you meet is recorded in the codex with the folktale it came from. ▶ Spells grow stronger when chained 37 spells. Cast them in the order of wood, fire, earth, underworld and water to build power. Soak the floor with Tidal Wave, then strike with Lightning and the shock spreads. Fire bursts when it meets poison. ▶ Eight gods, eight taboos Sanshin, the Dragon King, Chilseong, Samsin Halmi, Princess Bari, Jowang, the Dokkaebi Chief and Mago Halmi. Chilseong drops falling stars; the Dragon King sends rain that slows your foes. Favor comes with a taboo, and breaking it brings wrath. ▶ 14 species × 12 classes Bear Folk, Serpent, Dokkaebi, Dol Hareubang, Crow. Warrior, Assassin, Taoist, Shaman, Geomancer, Clown. 168 ways to start. ▶ Four main dungeons, seven branches The Abandoned Silver Mine, the Old Royal Tomb, the Misty Marsh, the Gumiho's Den, and the Underworld. Branch dungeons such as the Dragon Palace, the Dokkaebi Market, the Rat Warren and the Ink Landscape each hold the boss of their own tale. ▶ One hand, portrait, offline Tap to walk and fight. Auto-explore and auto-fight cover the dull stretches. No internet, no account. ▶ Free, no gacha Ads appear only when you choose to revive after falling. The one paid item, the Folktale Collection, unlocks the locked species and classes.
