# been vs been

The clearest difference is ads: been at none against been's shown. been also leads on review sentiment (59% vs 29%) and ratings volume (10K vs 29). been's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 10 days) and monetization model (ad-supported vs freemium). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. been sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and been sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for been against 4.8 for been. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: been has 10K ratings behind it against 29, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 59% of been's written reviews are positive against 29% of been's.

been ships an update every 10 days, been every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
