# been vs PIB

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PIB at none against been's 4. PIB also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). been's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 1) and chart position (#46 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. been sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. PIB asks for nothing beyond the download.

PIB holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: been has 10K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

been ships an update every 10 days, PIB weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
