# been vs Trāce

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Trāce at none against been's 4. Trāce also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). been's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 2) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. been sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Trāce asks for nothing beyond the download.

Trāce holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: been has 10K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

been ships an update every 10 days, Trāce every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
