# Textback vs PomoGem

The clearest difference is update cadence: PomoGem at weekly against Textback's every 2 months. Textback's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Textback sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and PomoGem sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Textback ships an update every 2 months, PomoGem weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
