# Stitchy vs iBoxPlayer

The clearest difference is update cadence: iBoxPlayer at every 3 days against Stitchy's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stitchy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and iBoxPlayer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stitchy ships an update every 6 weeks, iBoxPlayer every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
