# Focal vs Focusnyang

The clearest difference is update cadence: Focusnyang at every 3 days against Focal's weekly. Focusnyang also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Focusnyang sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focal ships an update weekly, Focusnyang every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
