# Drying Day vs BeforeRain

The clearest difference is ads: BeforeRain at none against Drying Day's shown. BeforeRain also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). Drying Day's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drying Day sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and BeforeRain sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drying Day ships an update fortnightly, BeforeRain every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
