# LibreCam vs Aperto

The clearest difference is update cadence: LibreCam at daily against Aperto's every 5 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LibreCam sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Aperto sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LibreCam ships an update daily, Aperto every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
