# Duodiet vs beans

The clearest difference is update cadence: beans at every 3 days against Duodiet's every 10 days. Duodiet's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 27.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Duodiet sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and beans sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Duodiet ships an update every 10 days, beans every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
