# Stepwise vs Steggy

The clearest difference is ads: Steggy at none against Stepwise's shown. Steggy also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stepwise sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Steggy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stepwise ships an update every 3 weeks, Steggy every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
