# 3ABN+ vs WJEV

The clearest difference is rating: WJEV at 5.0 against 3ABN+'s 4.3. WJEV also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). 3ABN+'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 32 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WJEV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 3ABN+ has 127 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

3ABN+ ships an update every 3 months, WJEV every 32 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
