# Slingshot Ride vs Rock Evolution

The clearest difference is rating: Rock Evolution at 4.8 against Slingshot Ride's 4.5. Rock Evolution also leads on chart position (#157 vs unranked). Slingshot Ride's advantage is ratings volume (42 vs 4) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Slingshot Ride sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Rock Evolution sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rock Evolution holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Slingshot Ride has 42 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Slingshot Ride ships an update every 11 days, Rock Evolution fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
