# First vs FOR THIS

The clearest difference is update cadence: FOR THIS at every 2 days against First's every 6 days. FOR THIS also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. First sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and FOR THIS sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

First ships an update every 6 days, FOR THIS every 2 days. Both last shipped on September 28, 2026.
