# SparkMove vs StepQuest

The clearest difference is ads: SparkMove at none against StepQuest's shown. StepQuest's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 days). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SparkMove sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and StepQuest sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SparkMove ships an update every 6 days, StepQuest every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
