# Pause vs FastingKit

The clearest difference is update cadence: FastingKit at every 3 days against Pause's every 10 days. FastingKit also leads on device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pause sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and FastingKit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pause ships an update every 10 days, FastingKit every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
