# GreenPlayer vs NextSee

The clearest difference is update cadence: NextSee at every 8 days against GreenPlayer's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GreenPlayer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and NextSee sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GreenPlayer ships an update every 2 weeks, NextSee every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
