# Dawrat vs MyU

The clearest difference is ads: Dawrat at none against MyU's shown. Dawrat also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium). MyU's advantage is ratings volume (23K vs 17) and update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dawrat sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and MyU sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MyU holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyU has 23K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 62% of Dawrat's written reviews are positive against 67% of MyU's.

Dawrat ships an update monthly, MyU every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
