# Totem vs Sted

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sted at every 2 days against Totem's every 3 weeks. Sted also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Totem sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Sted sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Totem ships an update every 3 weeks, Sted every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
