# Ember vs Tally

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tally at weekly against Ember's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ember sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Tally sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ember ships an update every 3 weeks, Tally weekly. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
