# Code Word vs Word Connect

The clearest difference is device support: Code Word at 4 against Word Connect's 2. Code Word also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Code Word sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Word Connect sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
