# BandLoop vs TEMPO

Both are free to download. TEMPO sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. BandLoop asks for nothing beyond the download.

BandLoop ships an update every 3 weeks, TEMPO every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
