# Lemon Notes vs Daypen

The clearest difference is update cadence: Daypen at every 3 days against Lemon Notes's weekly. Daypen also leads on device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lemon Notes sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per year and Daypen sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lemon Notes ships an update weekly, Daypen every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
