# Pip vs Dayhack

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dayhack at every 4 days against Pip's every 3 weeks. Dayhack also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pip sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Dayhack sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pip ships an update every 3 weeks, Dayhack every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 8, 2026 respectively.
