# InkNote vs Daypen

The clearest difference is ads: Daypen at none against InkNote's shown. Daypen also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 10 days) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. InkNote sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and Daypen sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

InkNote ships an update every 10 days, Daypen every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
