# MathWrite Notes vs NoteGuide

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: NoteGuide at 15.0 against MathWrite Notes's 18.6. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MathWrite Notes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and NoteGuide sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
