# OnArrival vs The NORM

The clearest difference is rating: The NORM at 5.0 against OnArrival's 4.5. The NORM also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). OnArrival's advantage is ratings volume (38 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The NORM holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OnArrival has 38 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

OnArrival ships an update fortnightly, The NORM every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
