# GoTasks Next vs LetterMinder

The clearest difference is update cadence: GoTasks Next at every 2 days against LetterMinder's every 2 weeks. GoTasks Next also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GoTasks Next sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and LetterMinder sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GoTasks Next ships an update every 2 days, LetterMinder every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
