# Tip Tracker vs ShiftSlip

The clearest difference is ads: Tip Tracker at none against ShiftSlip's shown. ShiftSlip's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tip Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and ShiftSlip sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tip Tracker ships an update fortnightly, ShiftSlip every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
