# PadelRef vs Smash

The clearest difference is update cadence: Smash at every 2 days against PadelRef's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PadelRef sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Smash sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PadelRef ships an update every 2 weeks, Smash every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
