# IQ Prep vs Cognik

The clearest difference is update cadence: IQ Prep at every 2 days against Cognik's every 4 days. IQ Prep also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IQ Prep sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cognik sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IQ Prep ships an update every 2 days, Cognik every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
