# Class Notes vs FotoMat

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: FotoMat at 15.0 against Class Notes's 26.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Class Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FotoMat sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
