# Take PRO vs Sharp

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sharp at fortnightly against Take PRO's every 5 weeks. Take PRO's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 27.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Take PRO sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Sharp sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Take PRO ships an update every 5 weeks, Sharp fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
