# Hook Chain vs Ice Flow

The clearest difference is ads: Hook Chain at none against Ice Flow's shown. Ice Flow's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 10 days). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hook Chain sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Ice Flow sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hook Chain ships an update every 10 days, Ice Flow every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
