# Viaspora vs Lecture Recorder

The clearest difference is ads: Lecture Recorder at none against Viaspora's shown. Viaspora's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Viaspora sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Lecture Recorder sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Viaspora ships an update every 2 weeks, Lecture Recorder every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
