# outtimer vs V2

The clearest difference is ads: V2 at none against outtimer's shown. V2 also leads on update cadence (daily vs weekly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. outtimer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and V2 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

outtimer ships an update weekly, V2 daily. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
