# HelloWay vs Telz

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Telz at 68% against HelloWay's 25%. Telz also leads on ratings volume (2.6K vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). HelloWay's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Telz sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. HelloWay asks for nothing beyond the download.

HelloWay holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Telz has 2.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of HelloWay's written reviews are positive against 68% of Telz's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HelloWay ships an update every 3 months, Telz monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
