# Fiix vs Dating Lab

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Dating Lab at 100% against Fiix's 31%. Dating Lab also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.2) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). Fiix's advantage is ratings volume (21 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fiix sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Dating Lab sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 6 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dating Lab holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fiix has 21 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 31% of Fiix's written reviews are positive against 100% of Dating Lab's.

Fiix ships an update every 2 weeks, Dating Lab every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
