# BringFido vs PadsPass

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: BringFido at none against PadsPass's 1. BringFido also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (46K vs 10). PadsPass's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 85%) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PadsPass sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $99.99 per year. BringFido asks for nothing beyond the download.

BringFido holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BringFido has 46K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of BringFido's written reviews are positive against 100% of PadsPass's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BringFido ships an update every 3 weeks, PadsPass every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
