# Rar Sharp vs CV Resume

The clearest difference is ads: CV Resume at none against Rar Sharp's shown. CV Resume also leads on rating (3.7 vs 3.3) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rar Sharp sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CV Resume sells 17 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CV Resume holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CV Resume has 1.5K ratings behind it against 65, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Rar Sharp's written reviews are positive against 45% of CV Resume's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rar Sharp ships an update every 3 months, CV Resume every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
