# IMA PROTECT vs L’Identité Numérique La Poste

The clearest difference is rating: L’Identité Numérique La Poste at 4.7 against IMA PROTECT's 4.1. L’Identité Numérique La Poste also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 7) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). IMA PROTECT's advantage is review sentiment (72% vs 54%) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

L’Identité Numérique La Poste holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: L’Identité Numérique La Poste has 1K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of IMA PROTECT's written reviews are positive against 54% of L’Identité Numérique La Poste's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IMA PROTECT ships an update every 5 weeks, L’Identité Numérique La Poste every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
