# Roya TV vs TenTime

The clearest difference is monetization model: Roya TV at free with in-app purchases against TenTime's subscription. Roya TV also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). TenTime's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (3.5 vs 3.0). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Roya TV sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and TenTime sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TenTime holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 156 and 335 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 24% of Roya TV's written reviews are positive against 47% of TenTime's.

Roya TV ships an update every 3 days, TenTime every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
